MicroTech Wins Spot on $20B CIO-SP3 SB Group Contract Award

MicroTech has been included in another $20 billion, multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract under the small business portion of the Chief Information Officer–Solutions and Partners 3 vehicle.

The company was recently selected for the CIO-SP3 SB group contract award, building on its inclusion on the contract vehicle’s service-disabled veteran-owned small business variant.

Companies selected for CIO-SP3 contracts, which are administered by the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center, compete for the opportunity to support a wide range of federal information technology requirements, MicroTech said Thursday

Tony Jimenez, chief executive officer of MicroTech, expressed pride in the company’s selection as one of the CIO-SP3 small business contract holders. According to Jimenez, Microtech has gone through a rigorous process prior to receiving the award.

Under CIO-SP3 contracts, companies can compete for task orders spanning 10 task areas, including software development, enterprise resource planning, digital government, critical infrastructure protection and information assurance, integration services, CIO support and IT services for biomedical research, health sciences and healthcare.

The ordering period for the CIO-SP3 SB and SDVOSB contract will continue through 2022.

In addition, MicroTech secured a spot on the CIO Commodities and Solutions contract, which is also valued at $20B.

The CIO-CS contract allows for the procurement of IT products such as end user hardware and software, IT security software, enterprise-wide software, on-premise infrastructure and health and biomedical research IT capabilities.
